We're happy to announce that Hartsdown Leisure Centre will be the venue for Thanet Trade Fair 2010.

With excellent parking and easy access for visitors within and out of the Thanet area, it seemed like an ideal place to host the best of local Thanet businesses.

What's Happening on the Day

There will be plenty going on all day at the trade fair

  • Free internet access for visitors at the internet point
  • Assorted prize draws including a £500 prize

Networking Breakfast

If you're unable to take a stand you may like to join us for a networking breakfast at a cost of only £7. Don't miss this networking opportunity as it is open to everybody who wishes to attend. Contact Us for details.

Getting to the Venue

Download a map

Travelling from Central London

Follow A2 through to junction with M2 and take right hand lane to join M2 Motorway.

Follow M2 Motorway to Junction 7 and take right hand lane A299 (signposted Margate, Ramsgate A299).

Follow A299 to A28 Taking 1st main exit to A28 to Birchington.

At Birchington mini roundabout turn right following A28.

Continue on A28 to traffic lights. Go straight ahead continuing on A28 (Canterbury Road) past The Hussar public house taking the fork right into George V Avenue at the green open space.

Follow the George V Avenue past Hartsdown Technology College to the junction. At the Junction go straight ahead into Hartsdown Park.

Travelling from Canterbury

Follow A28 Canterbury from Chaucer roundabout throughtSturry and past (The Black Horse and The Royal Oak public house) towards Sarre.

At Sarre mini roundabout follow straight on towards St Nicholas at Wade (junction with A299) and take the 2nd main exit.

At Birchington mini roundabout turn right following A28.

Continue on A28 to traffic lights. Go straight ahead continuing on A28 (Canterbury Road) past The Hussar public house taking the fork right into George V Avenue at the green open space.

Follow the George V Avenue past Hartsdown Technology College to the junction. At the junction go straight ahead into Hartsdown Park.

Travelling from Dover

A2 to Eastern Docks roundabout and take 2nd main exit (A2) to ascend Jubilee Way. A2 junction with A258 (Duke of York public house), at next roundabout take 2nd exit.

Follow A256 branching left (signposted Ramsgate, Sandwich) and at roundabout turn right and at following roundabout go forward.

Follow A256 going forward at the following 2 roundabouts. At next roundabout take 1st exit. Straight over the next 3 roundabouts and follow road past The Sportsman public house to the next double roundabout (Lord of the Manor) junction with A254.

At the first roundabout take the 1st exit then at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit following the A256 (Haine Road) past Greensole Golf Practice Centre. Straight across at 1st roundabout to Westwood Roundabout.

At Westwood roundabout take the first exit onto Ramsgate Road (A254), straight across traffic lights (Halfords on left) following the road past the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital to the next set of traffic lights.

At the traffic lights turn leftand follow the road under the bridge to the next set of lights. Take a right turning into Hartsdown Road (following signs for sports and leisure centre) and pass by Margate Football Club on the right hand side of the road.

Hartsdown Park entrance is then approximately 100 yards on the right.
